The Mutoh XpertJet 1462UF is a production-scale UV flatbed printer designed for direct-to-object printing across industrial, packaging, and signage workflows. With a 1420 x 700 mm print area and support for objects up to 150 mm thick, it is built for businesses producing packaging samples, signage panels, awards, and textured or 2.5D applications. The dual staggered printhead setup and multi-segment UV curing system allow efficient multi-layer printing with white and varnish, making it suitable for both prototyping and short-run production environments.
High-Speed Multi-Layer Printing
The XpertJet 1462UF uses two staggered piezo printheads combined with dual UV LED lamps to maintain speed when printing multiple layers. This allows white, colour, and varnish layers to be applied efficiently without slowing production, which is critical for packaging mock-ups, textured prints, and layered graphics.
