BOFA AD Oracle iQ

The BOFA AD Oracle iQ is a compact, high-performance fume extraction system designed for use with desktop and mid-range laser cutters, including the FLUX HEXA.

Recognised as a “best in class” solution, the AD Oracle iQ is powered by BOFA’s intelligent iQ Operating System, bringing together advanced airflow control, real-time system monitoring, and energy-efficient performance in a single, space-saving unit.

The iQ Operating System operates on two levels. For operators, it provides clear, easy-to-understand feedback on system status and filter life. For managers and service teams, it generates analytical performance data that can be downloaded for maintenance planning, diagnostics, and long-term evaluation.

By actively monitoring airflow and filter condition, the AD Oracle iQ maintains consistent extraction performance while helping to minimise downtime, reduce running costs, and extend filter life.

During laser cutting or engraving, airborne contaminants such as smoke, fumes, and fine particulate matter are produced. Without effective extraction, these contaminants can pose health risks and impact surrounding equipment. The AD Oracle iQ is designed to safely capture and filter these emissions, making it suitable for use in workshops, studios, and educational or commercial environments.

Filter configuration & compatibility

The AD Oracle iQ uses a multi-stage filtration system. Depending on the application, units may be supplied with different filter configurations, including combinations of pre-filters, MDF pre-filters, and combined HEPA / carbon filters.

An MDF pre-filter is recommended when processing MDF or similar materials, as standard pre-filters are not designed to capture the fine particulate generated by MDF. MDF pre-filters are compatible with other common laser materials and can be used as a general-purpose option where MDF is present.

All filters used within the AD Oracle iQ are consumable items. Once they reach their maximum service life, they will require replacement to maintain correct airflow and filtration performance.
